Down on the Farm

In general, I was raised a city boy, but over the last 5 years I’ve had my share of farm shoots. I've worked with both animal and crop brands, many of which you’d recognize. In the interest of “entertainment” here are a few things I’ve experienced down on the farm. 1) FARMERS ROCK! It’s hard work, few days off if any. They dig into the most dirty and demanding tasks day-in, day-out before we eat. 2) Working with large animals like cows, cattle, hogs etc. is dangerous. I was “nudged” by a 1,500lb cow and was lifted off my feet. 3) Corn stalks are like Mini-Ninjas. Those long green leafs will cut you if you're working in the field. 4) One day in the barn = three months of smelly shoes.
